A place where anyone in need, regardless of their situation, isn’t just welcomed, they’re loved and cared for as the prized child of God that they are. A place where inner-city youth can have fun while finding refuge from unstable homes—or no home at all. Where discipleship isn’t scheduled or engineered; it’s a real-time part of doing life together.

That’s what happens at the Apartments.

Our 18-unit apartment complex provides transitional housing and life-stabilization in a holistically supportive community for homeless and disadvantaged families. Here, we give families a home where they can heal, rebuild, and dream of a life better than they had.

This is also the epicenter of our community outreach efforts, where inner-city youth can be found nearly all day, every day playing and living life together in a safe, fun, and loving environment. This is also where we have outreach events and activities to serve the community and raise young men and women into leaders for Christ.

NAW MU'S STORY

The Paw family came from a small village in Northern Thailand, fleeing from the war and political unrest. In 2012, their father passed away in a drunk driving accident, leaving the family fatherless and homeless. They moved into One7 shortly after, as a safe place to be loved and protected. Their mom remarried and moved to Atlanta with her new husband, but her three oldest kids remained at One7. Five years after leaving, her new husband shot her after many years of constant abuse. She survived, returning to Charlotte to live, heal, and be protected at One7. A team of people committed to this family met her medical, financial, and housing needs immediately. Two years later, she still lives at One7, surrounded by people who love her. Every day, she wakes up and gets to watch and care for her children, knowing that she has a whole team of people around her.
